Bartimaeus Receives His Sight

^46 (B)Then they *came to Jericho. And later, ^(C)as He was leaving Jericho with His disciples and a large crowd, a beggar who was blind named Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the road. ⁴⁷ And when he heard that it was Jesus the ^(D)Nazarene, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, ^(E)Son of David, have mercy on me!”
